Leading US group, with almost 100,000 employees worldwide, is looking for a very experienced Senior International Accountant to join their EMEA centre in Prague.
The Senior level Accountant will provide professional accounting service to the group's international subsidiaries around the EMEA region and will be the first point of contact in all aspects related to finance for assigned countries.
This position plays a critical part in the company’s month-end close process, resulting in complete and accurate financial statements. The focus will be on areas such as general ledger accounting, month end, quarter end and year end closing, VAT, audits and reports.
You will be working closely with both the senior management team in house as well as with the big 4 external partners.
You will be a subject matter expert and take responsibility for end-to-end processes as well as facilitating continuous process improvement, supporting numerous Lean initiatives and maintaining integrity of the systems.
You are likely to have 5-10 years of finance/accounting experience within a multinational setting and looking to develop your career with a dynamic business.
Fluent English is required – other European languages used in the region, such as French, Spanish, Portuguese OR Russian could be helpful but are not essential.
