Senior Internal Auditor

This worldwide technology manufacturing business, with over $20 billion in revenue, is expanding its corporate audit function and is searching for an experienced, senior-level auditor. The role focuses on both leading and undertaking corporate audit missions across the group’s global operations.

Based in its corporate centre in the Netherlands, the position requires around 25% worldwide travel, mostly across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. 

Leading and undertaking audits with the assistance of team members and guest auditors, you will execute operational audits, financial reviews, and internal control assessments across diverse commercial activities. You will be responsible for effectively communicating audit conclusions (both in writing and orally) to local management, following up on reported findings, and overseeing audits as required. You will also undertake a variety of special tasks, such as investigations, post-acquisition reviews, or special consulting projects.

For this position, we are looking for an internationally minded individual with circa 5–7 years' experience gained either within a Big 4 audit firm (or equivalent) or in internal audit, who is looking to develop their career within a major multinational corporation. 

Aside from being an experienced auditor, candidates should have high fluency in English and experience living or working in different international environments. 

After working in this role, you will be expected to develop further within the global audit function or leverage the opportunity to move into a senior-level finance or operational role within one of the group's many subsidiaries.
