Senior Internal Auditor

Our client, a leading multinational group with over $20 billion in revenue and operations across the globe is looking for an experienced Auditor to join their team to undertake financial, operational and internal controls audits as well as special missions throughout their operations in Europe and across some worldwide operations.
 
Joining their corporate audit team in Salzburg your focus will be joining a team of skilled audit experts who focus on undertaking operational audits, business process reviews – dedicated to making key recommendations to the groups senior management on improving and streamlining their operational process and internal controls.

The job will largely entail performing risk-based audits across their operating divisions and branches across Western Europe subsidiaries, but you will also cover other worldwide locations. Travel is estimated to be around 20-30% maximum.
 
Aside from this the Internal auditor will also undertake special projects – possibly integrations of new business units, fraud investigations and data analytics/AI focused projects.
 
After working in the job for some period, it is expected that you will move forward into another job offer in the company (i.e. a CFO/senior finance role) or operational management role in the country or in another international corporate audit role within other parts of the group.
 
Candidates should have audit experience gained within either external OR internal audit.

German and English are required languages. Other languages would be helpful (but not essential).
