Interim Controller (6 months contract)

Our client, a US headquartered Hi tech precision engineering manufacturing group, is looking for a Controller for their Italian plant, based in Padua region of Italy.

The role will be overseeing the work of one accountant and focusing on key issues such as the month end closing, ensuring internal controls are followed as well as preparation of daily/weekly/monthly performance reports etc.

The company is going through a major ERP implementation so the Controller needs to be adept at handling such a transition.

As they are a production site, focus will also be on maintaining accurate inventory records – such as  analyzing inventory valuation,  inventory Control, including obsolescence monitoring & inventory turn analysis etc.

Candidates should have a number of years of finance experience within a production/manufacturing company.

Experience of overseeing major systems/ ERP upgrades or changes would be very helpful.

Candidates should have strong maturity and credibility.

English and Italian languages are required.
