Our client, a leading international commercial group with significant operations across Europe and the Americas is looking for a skilled and professional International Controller to work in their European head office location in Paris.
Working in a small, high profile, team of controllers your role will be focused on providing an overview of the pan European operations and providing a variety of strategic inputs to the local operations as well as advising on the commercial and financial issues that arise across the group.
The job holder will be involved in designing efficient internal controls frameworks, ensuring that accounting practices and procedures are consistently applied throughout the region as well as coordinating and monitoring of the work of the corporate audit team – ensuring audit recommendation are implemented timely and completely.
In order to apply for this position you must have around 10 years experience gained in either a controller position within a large multinational group or a similar level of experience gained in an external or internal audit.
Candidates must speak fluent English – other languages would be appreciated.
Candidates must also have excellent analytical capabilities as well as good strategic vision as well as very strong accounting skills.
The jobholder will be expected to travel to the various international operations so strong communication skills, as well as an understanding of different cultures, is equally essential.
