This leading private bank, with diverse operations across the globe is looking for a highly skilled and experienced Internal Audit Director to oversee their European and international based Audit team.
Working closely with senior management your role will be focused on overseeing the division, having full strategic and management responsibility for the team of experienced professional auditors from a variety of nationalities as well as setting the overall direction and agenda for the Internal Audit division across this diverse regional location.
You will be involved in overseeing special projects and investigations as and when required.
You will also be involved in developing the team on a professional basis as well as overseeing full strategic financial and operational reviews of the groups various entities.
In order to apply for this position you will have at least 10- 15 years experience. Potential candidates may either be at the senior manager level within a big four practice firm (either from external or internal audit) or may be candidates who have experience gained in practice and financial industry in either internal audit or you may also have some experience gained in operational finance.
Applicants must have very strong technical finance & accounting skills, including an accounting qualification, very strong management capabilities as well as experience of overseeing audit and controls assignments for large multinational (private) banks.
It is essential that candidates have excellent communication skills with the ability to influence senior management.
A level of 50% travel will be expected.
