Where are most of the audit jobs? 
The Czech Republic’s labour market varies considerably between different regions. This is particularly evident when comparing the northern and eastern regions of the country with Central Bohemia and the capital, Prague, consistently having the highest level of employment thanks to its attractive location and prestige for foreign investors. There are other job offers available for Auditors in Czech Republic – most notably in cities like Brno, Plzen, Ostrava and Olomouc.

Major industries include those related to the manufacturing and engineering sectors, such as automotive, electrical engineering and wood-processing. Employment in the services and banking sector has also been on the rise. 

What kind of life can I expect? 
If you are economically independent, spending money in the Czech Republic can actually be profitable and comparing prices of Czech products and services to those of other West European countries can be a pleasant surprise.

Even in Prague, where most costs and prices are at least twice as much than elsewhere in the Czech Republic, you still save a lot of money compared to other EU countries.

Different companies may give different job titles but when looking for a new job you will probably want to look out for the following such as

What kinds of audit jobs are available? 
The major companies in Czech Republic that may employ auditors include CEZ, Agrofret Holdings, Agropol Group, Zentiva, Škoda , Budvar  and Pilsner

Urquell. Many other employers of auditors in the Czech Republic tend to be large US multinationals.


So will I need specific audit qualifications?

The ACCA accountancy qualification is well recognised with the Czech Republic. Internal Auditors in the Czech Republic may also have the CIA qualification. The Czech institute of internal auditors (was established in March 1995 and has around 1000 members.

For IT and Systems Auditors and those looking for IT security jobs in the Czech Republic the ISACA Czech Republic Chapter was established in 1997 and has over 200 members.
